About BaptistCare Cooinda Court Macquarie Park

Located just a short stroll from local shops and transport, Cooinda Court features peaceful retreat areas, barbecue facilities, and a recently renovated dining room serving freshly cooked, homely meals. The library, piano and sewing rooms also provide cosy settings in which to sit and relax, by yourself, with friends, or with your family.

About the role

Cooinda Court is seeking Registered Nurses for a variety of shifts. You will deliver high quality, responsive and individualised care. You’ll plan, organise and implement care in accordance with individual resident care plans and deliver and promote high standards of professional care. An experienced leader, you will provide clinical leadership, support and guidance to our care staff.

Duties may include:

• Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating each resident's care needs
• Carry out wide range of person-centered care in accordance with care plans
• Administer medication and wound dressings

We offer a highly competitive rate of pay, based on your years of experience, ranging from $42.85 -$53.74 per hour, plus super, shift loading and salary packaging

Part time and casual contracts available.

Skills and Experience

• You are a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA Registration (essential)
• Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
• Proven ability to contribute to and work as part of a dynamic team in addition to operating independently
